Aamir Khan Visits Nepal For A 10-Day Meditation Programme Amid Break From Acting
Aamir Khan plans to meditate in Budhanilkantha, a small town not far from Kathmandu, Nepal.
New Delhi: Aamir Khan has been slow to reveal his next project despite widespread curiosity over what he's working on. The actor, who is on a break from work, appears to be making the most of his downtime by attending a variety of events, from intimate family gatherings to large-scale Bollywood galas. Now he's gone to Nepal to have some quiet time away from the world. Aamir Khan plans to meditate in Budhanilkantha, a small town not far from Kathmandu.
On his trip, Aamir Khan plans to participate in a vipassana meditation course for 10 days. A picture of Aamir Khan in Nepal has been doing the rounds online.

An employee at the Vipashna Centre in Nepal named Rup Jyoti confirmed to ANI, "Yes he is here to undergo 11 days Vipashna meditation. He has already been enrolled in the session from today. From airport he directly came to Budhanilkantha and started the session."
An officer from the Immigration Office confirmed the actor's arrival in Kathmandu on Sunday morning. The insider told PTI, "Aamir Khan arrived in Kathmandu Sunday morning on board Vistara Airlines."
Aamir Khan was last seen in the film 'Laal Singh Chaddha' opposite Kareena Kapoor. The film was a Hindi remake of the 1994 Hollywood hit 'Forrest Gump,' directed by Advait Chandan. Aamir’s upcoming film has yet to receive an official announcement. The actor said that he is taking a break from acting after 35 years of doing it at an event in Delhi in November 2022.
