Two days back actor Kartik Aryan too had confirmed getting infected by the virus and now Aamir too has joined the list of celebs being tested positive for Covid-19.

Amid the rising Covid-19 cases in Mumbai, actor Aamir Khan have been tested positive for the novel coronavirus and is under home quarantine.

In the past one week, actor Satish Kaushik, Ranbir Kapoor, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Manoj Bajpayee, and Siddhant Chaturvedi have confirmed testing positive for Covid-19 and are under home quarantine.

Two days back actor Kartik Aryan too had confirmed getting infected by the virus and now Aamir too has joined the list of celebs being tested positive for Covid-19.

Aamir Khan's representative issued a statement that reads: "Mr Aamir Khan has tested positive for Covid 19. He is at home in self-quarantine, following all the protocols and he’s doing fine. All those who came in contact with him in the recent past should get themselves tested as a precautionary measure. Thank you for all your wishes and concern."

Last week, Aamir Khan had also announced his exit from social media while expressing gratitude to fans for wishing the actor on his birthday. “Hey guys, thank you so much for all the love and warmth on my birthday. My heart is full. In another news, this is going to be my last post on social media. Considering that I am SO active anyway, I have decided to drop the pretence. We will continue to communicate as we did before. Lots of love, always,” Aamir had said in his statement.

On professional front, Aamir will be next seen in Laal Singh Chaddha, the movie is a Hindi adaptation of Tom Hanks’ 1994 Hollywood classic, Forrest Gump Kareena Kapoor Khan plays Aamir’s lady love in the film.
