Dehradun: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday released its election manifesto for Uttarakhand which is all set to go for single-phased assembly polls on February 14.
Named as Uttarakhand Drishti Patra 2022 or Vision Document, 2022, the manifesto was released by Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari who said that the manifesto will be a roadmap for state's development over the next five years.

As per the announcement, BJP's poll manifesto puts renewed emphasis on infrastructure development, tourism, stopping migration, employment generation, empowerment of women, farmers, horticulture and dairy development.
After releasing the BJP's poll manifesto, Gadkari also assured that the Char Dham Highway will be completed by December 2022.
The saffron party also promised 50,000 government jobs to the youth, three LPG cylinders to the poor every year in BJP is voted to power in the hill state.
BJP's manifesto also promises that pregnant women living in hilly areas will be given Rs 40,000 and senior citizens' pensions will be increased to Rs 3,600.
Additionally, both Centre and state will provide Rs 6,000 each towards Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme that will extend a benefit of Rs 12,000 fund transfer to every farmer's bank account.
"We went to 13 districts to seek suggestions from different people, including soldiers, farmers, women, youth. Mobile teams were sent to every assembly to keep the suggestion boxes there. People were asked what kind of Uttarakhand they want," BJP leader and manifesto committee president Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank said during the event.
He also said that BJP wants to make Uttarakhand the best state in the country by 2025.
"It is our mission to make Haridwar the capital of Yoga. There is a plan to make poor women self-reliant. Poor households will be given 3 cylinders free of cost in a year. Apart from this, Rs 2000 per month will be given to women from BPL families and Rs 1000 per month will be given to poor children," he added.
Uttarakhand Assembly Election Schedule:
Voting for the assembly elections in Uttarakhand will be held on February 14. In Uttarakhand, 632 candidates are contesting in 70 assembly seats. The counting of votes will take place on March 10.
