UP Nagar Nikay Chunav: How Will Akhilesh's SP Fare Against Yogi's BJP? Here's What ABP News-CVoter Survey Says

UP Nikay Chunav 2023: The findings of the C Voter survey reveal that about 51 % of people are content with the Yogi administration while about 9 % are dissatisfied with the current BJP government.

UP Nagar Nikay Chunav 2023: Almost all political parties are trying their level best to win the civic elections in the state, according to political experts, these elections are being considered as the semi-final of the Lok Sabha election slated to be held next year. Considering that, none of the parties would want to leave any stone unturned to attain maximum seats. The daily monitoring of political parties depicts that the parties ate taking steps in haste in order to decide on the candidates. It is evident that tickets are being granted to winning candidates only. In the political fest of the state which has the highest number of constituencies in the country, all efforts are being to woo the voters. C-Voter has conducted an opinion poll for ABP news. According to the poll results, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is expected to win the civic body elections.

WHAT CAN BE THE EXPECTED VOTE SHARE OF POLITICAL PARTIES? HERE'S WHAT SURVEY REVEALS: 

According to the C Voter survey, the ruling BJP is expected to secure 45 percent of the vote, while the Samajwadi Party (SP) is seen as posing a challenge to the ruling party with 31 percent of the vote share. Mayawati's BSP is expected to gain 8 per cent, Congress 7 per cent and others to outperform both parties by securing 9 per cent of the vote share. 

WHAT DO PEOPLE THINK OF YOGI ADITYANATH GOVT? TAKE A LOOK AT WHAT SURVEY SAYS: 

More than half of the people in the state, or 51 per cent, are completely satisfied with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's performance. 14 per cent are somewhat satisfied. 9 per cent are dissatisfied in some way. According to the C-Voter survey, 21 per cent are completely dissatisfied, while 5 per cent said they are unsure.

The Uttar Pradesh Nagar Nikay Chunav will take place in two phases, on May 4 and May 11. The votes will be counted on May 13, and the results will be announced the same day. The political ground for the civic polls is already heated up in the state, with BSP, Congress, and BJP campaigning in full swing.

The political landscape of Uttar Pradesh has recently witnessed several new trends, with SP and RLD forming an alliance and the BJP not lagging behind in granting tickets to Muslim candidates. The BSP, on the other hand, is heavily reliant on the Dalit-Muslim equation.
