'Jinke Naam Mein Hi Kamal Ho...': SP Chief Fires Back At Kamal Nath Over 'Akhilesh Vakhilesh' Remark

Samajwadi chief Akhilesh responds to Kamal Nath's 'Akhilesh Vakhilesh' remark as SP calls Congress leaders 'Chhutbhaiya' in an exchange of words during election season.

In response to Congress leader Kamal Nath's 'Akhilesh Vakhilesh' remark, Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav on Saturday remarked, "He said this right, that who is Wakhilesh? Akhilesh is there. If they say these kinds of things, then the Samajwadi Party can also say, but we don't want to indulge in this. Our relationship with Kamal Nath is very good. His name is so nice. Whose name has 'kamal,' they will call Wakhilesh only and not Akhilesh."

This comes in response to Kamal Nath's statement on Friday about the upcoming Assembly Elections, "The environment is very good. People are calling us and telling us that there is enthusiasm amongst the people. We will win with an even better number than we had expected." When questioned about Akhilesh Yadav's allegations of "betrayal" against Congress, Kamal Nath responded with humor, saying, "Are bhai chhodo Akhilesh Vakhilesh."

Regarding the ongoing exchange of words between Congress and the Samajwadi Party, Samajwadi MP Ram Gopal Yadav chose not to comment, referring to Congress leaders as "Chhutbhaiya" leaders.

RJD MP Manoj Jha offered a more conciliatory perspective, stating, "This happens during elections. Every party has ambitions. I would like to request that the top leadership (of the I.N.D.I.A bloc) should resolve this in a better manner. People are also eagerly looking at this alternative (the I.N.D.I.A bloc). Everything will be fine, ultimately," ANI quoted him as saying.

The Congress Party released the second list of candidates for the upcoming Madhya Pradesh election on Thursday. The election in the BJP-led state is scheduled for November 17, and the Congress party has declared all of its candidates for the 230-member Assembly with the release of the list.

On Tuesday, the party released its manifesto for the upcoming state assembly elections, promising a slew of promises such as Rs 25 lakh health insurance coverage for all MP residents, 27% reservation for OBCs, and the formation of a state IPL team.

Madhya Pradesh will hold elections for the 230-member Assembly in a single phase next month, with vote counting taking place in December alongside other poll-bound states.
