New Delhi: Ecstatic with his party’s splendid victory, Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday thanked the voters stating “Punjab waalo tussi kamaal kar ditta”.


Kejriwal said the results of the Punjab Assembly elections are a massive “inquilaab”.


“Punjab waalo tussi kamaal kar ditta', we all love you, Punjab. The results are a massive 'inquilaab', big seats have shaken up,” he told a press conference, ANI reported.


Kejriwal silenced his critics stating the people of Punjab have with their trust on the AAP categorically stated that he is “not a terrorist”.


“It’s a revolution in Punjab, people have said Kejriwal is not a terrorist,” said Kejriwal.


“First this revolution happened in Delhi, then in Punjab and it will now happen all over country,” he added.


Kejriwal said the people have with these results showed that he is “not a terrorist” but a real “Desh Bhakt”.


“Such a big mandate scares us too, we won't break people's faith,” he added.


Lambasting the Opponents, Kejriwal said: “Bhagat Singh once said if we don't change the system after the British leave, nothing will happen.”


“Sadly in the last 75 yrs, these parties and leaders had the same British system, they were looting the country, no schools/hospitals were made. The AAP has changed the system,” he added.



Reaching out to the youth, the AAP national convener said: “We will make an India where no student has to go to Ukraine to study medicine.”


Asserting Punjab has done “amazing” by voting for the AAP, Kejriwal said: “Sukhbir Singh Badal lost, Captain Sahab lost, Channi Sahab lost, Parkash Singh Badal lost, Navjot Singh Sidhu lost, Bikram Singh Majithia lost,” he added.


Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, who was also present during the media interaction, on his part said the people have now got an alternative in politics.


“We will fulfill the dream of Baba Bhimrao Ambedkar and Shaheed Bhagat Singh. Now, the people have got an alternative in politics and the people of Punjab have given an opportunity to that alternative,” said the senior AAP leader.


The AAP is heading towards a landslide win in Punjab. As per latest trends, the AAP is leading in 92 seats in the 117-member Punjab Assembly.
