'Odisha's Super CM Outsourced State Govt': PM Modi's Jibe At Naveen Patnaik, Claims 'June 4 Is BJD's Expiry Date'

PM Modi took a jibe at Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik saying that he "outsourced" the state government and claimed that "BJD will expire on June 4".

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday visited Odisha where he was scheduled to conduct three poll rallies today. The first rally was held in Kandhamal in the morning, followed by another rally in Bolangir, and the third one was held in Bargarh. During the rally in Bargarh, PM Modi took a jibe at the Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik saying that he is a 'Super CM' who is running a government that has been outsourced and not elected by the people. The PM also criticised the ruling Biju Janata Dal for being unsuccessful in pulling Odisha out of poverty even after 25 years and claimed that the BJD government will expire on June 4.

While addressing a public meeting in Odisha's Bargarh, PM Narendra Modi said: "The government in the state isn't run by the elected people anymore but it has been outsourced to other people... I have already declared, June 4 is the expiry date of BJD govt..."

Taking a jibe at the CM he stated: "You all know how the BJD govt has failed to do developmental works in Odisha. Who is running the BJD govt? There is a 'Super CM' in BJD who is not elected by the people. BJD has outsourced the CM position to someone who is not even aware of the cultural values of Odisha."

Slamming the BJD-led government over not being able to eradicate poverty from Odisha, PM Modi said: "In 25 years, a whole generation becomes adults. They start their new lives. But the government of BJD hasn't been able to pull Odisha out of poverty in these 25 years. Today, there is a lot of anger against BJD leaders across Odisha."

PM Modi Slams Congress For 'Gangajal' Remark Post President's Ram Temple Visit

PM Modi came down heavily on Congress over party's "Gangajal purification" remark after President Murmu visited the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. He said: "Our president Droupadi Murmu visited Ram temple in Ayodhya a few days back, offered prayers and sought blessings from Ramlalla for the welfare of the country... One day after her visit, one of the biggest leaders of the Congress party said we will do purification of Ram temple with Gangajal...Do such people have the right to be in Indian politics?"

The PM also hit out at Congress MP Rahul Gandhi for his allegations regarding how the BJP will change the Constitution if voted to power saying, "Shehzada' who is dancing nowadays keeping the constitution on his forehead... When the Manmohan Singh's cabinet took a decision, the 'Shehzada' called a press conference and tore apart that decision into pieces. Those pieces were not of paper but of the constitution..."

"Congress wants to change the Constitution. They want to take the reservation rights of SCs, STs and OBCs and give them to their vote bank. But, the guardian of the Indian Constitution is an Adivasi woman... Your Prime Minister is from the OBC community. I assure you nobody will take away your rights!" PM Modi stressed.
