'Odisha's Super CM Outsourced State Govt': PM Modi's Jibe At Naveen Patnaik, Claims 'June 4 Is BJD's Expiry Date'
PM Modi took a jibe at Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik saying that he "outsourced" the state government and claimed that "BJD will expire on June 4".
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday visited Odisha where he was scheduled to conduct three poll rallies today. The first rally was held in Kandhamal in the morning, followed by another rally in Bolangir, and the third one was held in Bargarh. During the rally in Bargarh, PM Modi took a jibe at the Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik saying that he is a 'Super CM' who is running a government that has been outsourced and not elected by the people. The PM also criticised the ruling Biju Janata Dal for being unsuccessful in pulling Odisha out of poverty even after 25 years and claimed that the BJD government will expire on June 4.
While addressing a public meeting in Odisha's Bargarh, PM Narendra Modi said: "The government in the state isn't run by the elected people anymore but it has been outsourced to other people... I have already declared, June 4 is the expiry date of BJD govt..."
Taking a jibe at the CM he stated: "You all know how the BJD govt has failed to do developmental works in Odisha. Who is running the BJD govt? There is a 'Super CM' in BJD who is not elected by the people. BJD has outsourced the CM position to someone who is not even aware of the cultural values of Odisha."
