Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday sent a legal notice to Bharatiya Janata Party and its East Delhi candidate Gautam Gambhir in reference to his tweets in which he had said that he feels ashamed to have a chief minister like Arvind Kejriwal. Gautam Gambhir had said, "I feel ashamed to have a CM like Arvind Kejriwal. You are filth Mr CM and someone needs your very own jhaadu (broom) to clean your dirty mind." The notice to Gautam Gambhir seeks immediate apology in writing & asks to publish the same 'along with true & correct facts' in newspapers & on social media, within 24 hours. Earlier in the day, Kejriwal had said the BJP has defamed AAP leaders and then filed a defamation case against them. Kejriwal vowed to not tolerate the saffron party’s behaviour and said that a defamation notice will be sent to BJP candidate Gambhir, who faces Atishi from the East Delhi constituency in the Lok Sabha elections. “They (BJP) have filed defamation case against us after defaming us. We are sending defamation notice to Gautam Gambhir today. We will not leave this matter,” Kejriwal told ANI.
