Small stages were set up along the route where cultural performances were held. Cutouts of famous people from Kashi were installed in many places, according to a PTI report.
People from different communities, including Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Maheshwari, Marwari, Tamil and Punjabi, welcomed Modi at 100 points in 11 zones marked out on the route of the roadshow. Arvind Kejriwal, Bhagwant Mann To Campaign In Kurukshetra Today
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his Punjab counterpart Bhagwant Mann will campaign for AAP in Haryana's Kurukshetra constituency on May 14, news agency PTI reported. The Supreme Court on Friday granted Kejriwal interim bail in a money-laundering case linked to the alleged Delhi excise policy scam to enable him to campaign during the elections.
Gupta told PTI that many people made sacrifices during the country's freedom struggle and, in the same manner, parties under the opposition I.N.D.I.A bloc have united "to save the Constitution and democracy," he added, "The entire country is voting for change this time," Gupta said and claimed the BJP will be ousted from power.
