Nitish Kumar Back To I.N.D.I.A? SP Leader's Tweet Creates Buzz As NDA Struggles To Cross 300 Mark

Lok Sabha Election Results: As the Bharatiya Janata Party-led NDA bloc struggles to cross the mark of 300 seats in the Lok Sabha elections 2024, speculatiions are rife that Bihar Chif Minister Nitish Kumar might return to the I.N.D.I.A bloc. All the buzz erupted after a post from Samajwadi Party IP Singh emerged. In the post, IP Singh said, " Nitish was ours, is ours, and will remain ours. Hail hail Sita Ram."

Sources have informed ABP News that Congress leadership is in contact with the leadership of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and the Janata Dal (United) (JDU). Specifically, outreach has been made to Chandrababu Naidu and Nitish Kumar as the Lok Sabha results near a photo finish.

The counting of votes began at 8 AM on Tuesday. The Lok Sabha elections were held in seven phases across the country from April 19 to June 1.

Lok Sabha Elections Result: India Bloc Likely To Offer Dy PM Post To Nitish Kumar, Say Sources 

According to the latest trends, the I.N.D.I.A bloc is away from the magic figures of 272 but the combination if set right, it can possibly push the Congress-led alliance to the PM's post. According to ABP News sources, the opposition bloc is ready to offer plum posts to lure in two NDA partners - TDP and JDU.

The sources said that the I.N.D.I.A bloc has offered the JDU chief the post of Deputy PM and a special status to Andhra Pradesh in a bid to lure the parties to form government at the Centre with the alliance.

Earlier this year, Nitish Kumar ditched the I.N.D.I.A returned to the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and he will remain the CM. According to ABP News sources, once the government is formed, an Assembly speaker will be elected. 

Lok Sabha Elections Result: Nitish Kumar Emerges As Kingpin In Bihar 

Amid the counting of votes in the LS polls, Nitish Kumar's Janata Dal (United) has emerged as the kingpin in Bihar as the results. As per the latest EC trends, JD(U) was leading in 15 out of 40 seats, while its ally Bhartiya Janata Party is leading on 13 seats.

Bihar sends 40 Members of Parliament to the 543-member Lok Sabha. In this election, the BJP, JDU(U) and Lok Janshakti Party led by Chirag Paswan are in alliance to take on Mahagathbandhan, which includes RJD, Congress and left parties.
