Chhattisgarh Aam Aadmi Guarantees: As Chhattisgarh gears up for the upcoming assembly elections, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is making strides with its preparations. AAP leaders Arvind Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann embarked on a tour of the state on Saturday (August 19), announcing a slew of "guarantees" ahead of the elections.






Employment 'Guarantee': 



  • Every unemployed individual will be offered employment.

  • Unemployment allowance of ₹3000 per month until finding a job.

  • Approximately 10 lakh government job openings for the unemployed, eliminating nepotism and corruption.


Electricity 'Guarantee'



  • Like Delhi and Punjab, households in Chhattisgarh will receive 300 units of free electricity monthly.

  • Uninterrupted 24-hour electricity supply for villages and cities.

  • Clearance of pending domestic electricity bills under an AAP government.


Women's Empowerment 'Guarantee'



  • All women aged 18 and above receive ₹1000 'Stree Samman Rashi' per month.

'Free' Education Pledge:



  • Quality free education for every child, with improved government schools and regulated private school fees.

  • Confirmation of contractual teachers, filling vacant teaching positions.






Healthcare Commitment: 



  • Free quality healthcare for all, akin to Delhi's model.

  • Medicines, tests, and procedures free of cost.

  • Establishment of Mohalla clinics in villages and wards, alongside upgrading existing hospitals.






'Delhi's Corruption-Free' Model For Chhattisgarh: 



  • Corruption eradication similar to Delhi, with doorstep government service delivery.

  • Citizens can request services through a dedicated phone number, avoiding bribery.






Martyr's Tribute 'Assurance':


Families of Indian Army and Chhattisgarh Police martyrs to receive ₹1 crore as 'Samman Rashi'.






The other "guarantees" included free pilgrimage for senior citizens. According to Kejriwal, the tenth guarantee is about farmers and tribals, which he will reveal during his next visit.


The AAP tried its luck for the first time in Chhattisgarh assembly elections in 2018, fielding candidates in 85 of 90 seats but failing to win.
