'Fully Capable Of Handling...' Kejriwal Responds To Pakistan Politician's 'Harmony Defeat Hate' Post On X

Arvind Kejriwal slammed a Pakistani politician's comments on the ongoing Lok Sabha elections made on his social media post, cautioning against any interference from those associated with terrorism.

Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo Arvind Kejriwal replied to a Pakistani politician's comment on his post pertaining to the Lok Sabha elections, stating that the politician should focus on the condition of his country rather than interfering in India's intern affairs.

Kejriwal, the Chief Minister of Delhi, cast his vote for the sixth phase of the general election on Saturday, with his family. He posted a family photo on his official social media handle, stating, "I voted today with my father, wife, and children. My mother is very ill. She could not go. I voted against dictatorship, unemployment, and inflation. You must go and vote".

The post attracted a response from Chaudhry Fawad Hussain, a Pakistani politician and former  Minister in Imran Khan's government. Hussain shared Kejriwal's post with the caption, "May peace and harmony defeat forces of hate and extremism," and used the hashtags "#MorePower #IndiaElection2024".

Kejriwal responded, advising Hussain to refrain from meddling in India's affairs and focus on Pakistan's issues instead. "Chaudhry sahib, I and the people of my country are fully capable of handling our issues. Your tweet is not required. The situation in Pakistan is very bad right now. You take care of your country," Kejriwal responded in a Hindi post.

He further emphasised that the elections are a domestic matter and warned against any interference from those he described as "the biggest sponsors of terrorism".

In reply, Hussain remarked that extremism is a "borderless phenomenon" affecting Pakistan, India, and Bangladesh. "Situation in Pak is very far from ideal but individuals must strive for better society wherever they are," he said.

This incident is not the first time Chaudhry Fawad Hussain has commented on Indian politics. Earlier this month, he shared a video of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi criticising the BJP and Narendra Modi. In the video, Gandhi spoke about Ram Mandir inauguration and accused the BJP government of neglecting the poor and youth.

On May 4, Hussain also praised Rahul Gandhi on social media for the Congress's promise of conducting a wealth redistribution survey if elected to power. He compared Gandhi to his great-grandfather, Jawaharlal Nehru, noting that both were socialists.
