In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Telangana Rashtra Samithi won 11 out of the 17 parliamentary seat with 33.9 percent vote share while the Congress managed to win just 2 seats with a 20.5 percent vote share.

पुलवामा हमले के बाद सेना और सीआरपीएफ की पहली प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस, सीआरपीएफ के आईजी लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल कंवलजीत सिंह ढिल्लों ने सभी शहीदों को श्रद्धांजलि दी. उन्होंने कहा है कि हमने 100 घंटों के अंदर आतंकी संगठन जैश-ए-मोहम्मद के आतंकियों को मार गिराया है. पुलवामा मुठभेड़ में तीन आतंकी मारे गए थे.

पुलवामा मुठभेड़ में शहीद मेजर विभूति का पार्थिव शरीर जैसे ही देहरादून स्थित उनके घर पहुंचा, बेटे की शहादत की खबर सुनकर मां बेहोश हो गईं. बेटे का पार्थिव शरीर पहुंचने के बाद से मां बेहोशी की हालत में हैं. दरअसल दिल की मरीज मां को पहले खबर नहीं दी गई थी.
