Tezpur: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Ram Prasad Sarmah from Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) won the elections by a margin of 86020 votes. The polling / voting in Tezpur constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 1 on 11 April.
