Shahjahanpur: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Krishna Raj from Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) won the elections by a margin of 235529 votes. The polling / voting in Shahjahanpur constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 4 on 29 April. The major contest is between Bharatiya Janata Party#s Arun Sagar and Bahujan Samaj Party#s Amar Chandra Jauhar

Shahjahanpur 2014 Lok Sabha Polls

In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Bharatiya Janata Party won 71 out of the 80 parliamentary seat with 42.3 percent vote share while the Samajwadi Party managed to win just 5 seats with a 22.2 percent vote share.

Here, Bharatiya Janta Party leader Satyapal Singh Yadav attained 208272 votes and Samajwadi Party candidate Rammurty Singh bagged 185587 votes
