Secunderabad: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Bandaru Dattatreya from Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) won the elections by a margin of 254735 votes. The polling / voting in Secunderabad constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 1 on 11 April. The major contest is between Telangana Rashtra Samithi#s Talasani Saikiran Yadav and Congress Party#s M. Anjan kumar yadav
Secunderabad 2014 Lok Sabha PollsIn the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Telangana Rashtra Samithi won 11 out of the 17 parliamentary seat with 33.9 percent vote share while the Congress managed to win just 2 seats with a 20.5 percent vote share.

- 1996 Lok Sabha Elections: In 11th Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate defated Bharatiya Janta Party candidate in one-sided contest. Here, INC candidate Rajeshwar Rao P.V. attained 420660 votes and BJP's Bandaru Dattatreya bagged 206302 votes.
