The voting in Rohtas Nagar constituency in the 2020 Assembly Elections took place on 8th February. Aam Aadmi Party Sarita Singh is pitted against Bharatiya Janata Party Jitendra Mahajan and Congress Party Congress Party Vipin Sharma candidate. Voting in Rohtas Nagar Assembly was held on 8 February in which 59.69% voters exercised their vote.   • 1998 Assembly Elections:In 3rd Assembly election, interesting battle was seen seen between INC and BJP. Here INC candidate defeated his BJP counterpart with a difference of 167 votes.

  • 2003 Assembly Elections:In 4th Assembly election, interesting battle was seen seen between INC and BJP. Here INC candidate defeated his BJP counterpart with a difference of 6363 votes.

  • 2008 Assembly Elections:In 5th Assembly election, INC candidate defeated BJP candidate with a difference of 13243 votes. Here, INC leader Ram Babu Sharma attained 45802 votes and BJP candidate Alok Kumar bagged 32559 votes.

  • 2013 Assembly Elections: In 6th Assembly election, BJP candidate defeated AAP candidate with a difference of 14943 votes. Here, BJP leader Jitender Kumar attained 49916 votes and AAP candidate Mukesh Hooda bagged 34973 votes.
