Raebareilly: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Sonia Gandhi from Indian National Congress (INC) won the elections by a margin of 352713 votes. The polling / voting in Raebareilly constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 5 on 6 May. The major contest is between Bharatiya Janata Party#s Dinesh Pratap Singh and Congress Party#s Smt. Sonia gandhi

In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Bharatiya Janata Party won 71 out of the 80 parliamentary seat with 42.3 percent vote share while the Samajwadi Party managed to win just 5 seats with a 22.2 percent vote share.

• 2004 Lok Sabha Elections: In 14th Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate defated Samajwadi Party candidate in one-sided contest. Here, INC candidate Sonia Gandhi attained 378107 votes and SP's Ashok Kumar Singh bagged 128342 votes.
• 1999 Lok Sabha Elections: In 13th Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate had defeated Samajwadi Party candidate by a margin of 73549 votes INC candidate Captain Satish Sharma had got 224202 while SP got Gajadhar Singh votes.
• 1998 Lok Sabha Elections: In 12th Lok Sabha election, Bharatiya Janta Party candidate defeated Samajwadi Party candidate with a difference of 40722 votes. Here, Bharatiya Janta Party leader Ashok Singh attained 237204 votes and Samajwadi Party candidate Surendra Bahadur Singh bagged 196482 votes
• 1996 Lok Sabha Elections: In 11th Lok Sabha election, Bharatiya Janta Party candidate defeated JD candidate with a difference of 33887 votes. Here, Bharatiya Janta Party leader Ashok Singh attained 163390 votes and JD candidate Ashok Singh S/O Ram Aqbal Singh bagged 129503 votes
• 1991 Lok Sabha Elections: In 10th Lok Sabha election, interesting battle could be seen between Indian National Congress and JD here Indian National Congress candidate defeated his JD counterpart with a difference of 3917 votes.
• 1989 Lok Sabha Elections: In Ninth Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate had defeated JD candidate by a margin of 83779 votes INC candidate Sheila Kaul had got 197658 while JD got Rajendra Pratap Singh votes.
• 1984 Lok Sabha Elections: In 8th Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate defated LKD candidate in one-sided contest. Here, INC candidate Arun Kumar Nehru attained 314028 votes and LKD's Ambedkar Savita bagged 56475 votes.
• 1980 Lok Sabha Elections: In 7th Lok Sabha poll, Indian National Congress candidate defated JNP candidate in one-sided contest. Here, INC(I) candidate Indira Gandhi attained 223903 votes and JNP's Rajmata Vijaya Rajey Scindia bagged 50249 votes.
• 1977 Lok Sabha Elections: In Sixth Lok Sabha election, BLD candidate had defeated INC candidate by a margin of 55202 votes BLD candidate Raj Narain had got 177719 while INC got Indira Nahru Gandhi votes.
• 1971 Lok Sabha Elections: In Fifth Lok Sabha poll, Indian National Congress candidate defated SSP candidate in one-sided contest. Here, INC candidate Indira Nehru Gandhi attained 183309 votes and SSP's Raj Narain bagged 71499 votes.
• 1967 Lok Sabha Elections: In Fourth Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate had defeated IND candidate by a margin of 91703 votes INC candidate I. N. Gandhi had got 143602 while IND got B. C. Seth votes.
• 1962 Lok Sabha Elections: In Third Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate defeated JS candidate with a difference of 14268 votes. Here, Indian National Congress leader Baijnath Kureel attained 77435 votes and JS candidate Taravati bagged 63167 votes
• 1957 Lok Sabha Elections: In Second Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate defeated IND candidate with a difference of 29253 votes. Here, Indian National Congress leader Feroze Gandhi attained 162595 votes and IND candidate Nand Kishore bagged 133342 votes
• 1951 Lok Sabha Elections: In India's Very First Lok Sabha poll, Indian National Congress candidate defated SP candidate in one-sided contest. Here, INC candidate Vishamabher Daya L attained 168081 votes and SP's Laxmi Prasad bagged 51290 votes.

अकोला : जय पराजय हा होतच असतो त्यात आपण जिंकलो पाहिजे यासाठी प्रयत्न करत असतो. मी अकोला व सोलापूर या दोन्ही जागेवरून निवडणूक लढवत असतांना दोन्ही जागी प्रचारासाठी वेळ देऊ शकलो नाही व पाहिजे तेवढा उपस्थितही राहु शकलो नाही. परंतु या दोन्ही ठिकाणच्या सक्षम कार्यकर्ते व पदाधिकारी यांनी या लोकसभा निवडणुकीत माझी उणीव भरुन काढली त्यामुळे सर्वांचे मनःपूर्वक आभार मानतो. एक्झिट पोल काहीही असोत पण 23 मे हा आपलाच आहे - प्रकाश आंबेडकर
