Nagina: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Yashwant Singh from Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) won the elections by a margin of 92390 votes. The polling / voting in Nagina constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 2 on 18 April. The major contest is between Bharatiya Janata Party#s Dr. Yashwant Singh and Bahujan Samaj Party#s Girish Chandra

In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Bharatiya Janata Party won 71 out of the 80 parliamentary seat with 42.3 percent vote share while the Samajwadi Party managed to win just 5 seats with a 22.2 percent vote share.

राम मंदिर के मुद्दे पर रणदीप सिंह सुरजेवाला ने कहा कि हमारा इस मुद्दे पर स्टैंड साफ है, राम मंदिर पर सुप्रीम कोर्ट का फैसला आते ही विवाद खत्म होगा. क्या राम मंदिर को लेकर बीजेपी साफ करेगी कि कब वो मंदिर बनवाने की दिशा में काम करेगी? 5 साल इनके पास थे तो इन्होंने राम मंदिर पर फैसला क्यों नहीं लिया? बीजेपी कभी भी राम मंदिर के मुद्दे को सुलझाने का काम नहीं करेगी क्योंकि इसके बाद उनका वोट बैंक खत्म हो जाएगा.

कांग्रेस की सरकार आएगी तो अफ्स्पा के ऊपर विचार किया जाएगा क्योंकि सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने भी इस कानून के तहत बलात्कार और कत्ल के मामले में रिव्यू करने की बात कही है. अगर कांग्रेस पार्टी ने इसको मानते हुए आर्म्स फोर्स स्पेशल प्रोटेक्शन एक्ट की समीक्षा करने का वादा किया है तो क्या गलत किया है.- रणदीप सिंह सुरजेवाला

रणदीप सिंह सुरजेवाला ने कहा कि जैसा हमने वादा किया है वैसा हम निभाएंगे भी. रघुकुल रीति सदा चली आई, प्राण जाई पर वचन ना जाई. एक तरफ अहंकारी शासक है हैं तो दूसरी तरफ देश की जनता है. आज बीजेपी नेताओं के भाषण से युवा, रोजगार, कालाधन, नोटबंदी और मेक इन इंडिया जैसी योजनाओं के नाम गायब हैं.
