The polling in Krishna Nagar constituency in the 2020 assembly elections took place on 8th February. Here, SK Bagga is contesting on Aam Aadmi Party ticket, Anil Goyal is contesting on Bharatiya Janata Party ticket, Dr Ashok Kr Walia is contesting on Congress Party ticket. • 1998 Assembly Elections: In Third Assembly election, interesting battle was seen seen between BJP and INC. Here, BJP candidate defeated his INC counterpart with a difference of 6610 votes.
• 2003 Assembly Elections: In 4th Assembly election, BJP candidate defeated INC candidate with a difference of 14073 votes. Here, BJP leader Dr. Harsh Vardhan attained 35477 votes and INC candidate Narinder Kumar bagged 21404 votes.
• 2008 Assembly Elections: In 5th Assembly election, interesting battle was seen seen between BJP and INC here BJP candidate defeated his INC counterpart with a difference of 3204 votes.
• 2013 Assembly Elections: In 6th Assembly election, BJP candidate defeated INC candidate with a difference of 43150 votes. Here, BJP leader Harsh Vardhan attained 69222 votes and INC candidate Dr Vinod Kumar Monga bagged 26072 votes.
