The voting in Jangpura constituency in the 2020 Assembly Elections took place on 8th February. Aam Aadmi Party Praveen Kumar is pitted against Bharatiya Janata Party Impreet Singh Bakshi and Congress Party Congress Party Talvinder Singh Marwah candidate. Voting in Jangpura Assembly was held on 8 February in which 56.14% voters exercised their vote. Counting of votes in Badarpur Assembly will begin today from 8 am, whose latest information will be available on this page.

  • 1998 Assembly Elections: In third Assembly election, INC candidate defeated BJP candidate with a difference of 11919 votes. Here, INC leader Tarvinder Singh Marwah attained 28384 votes and BJP candidate Bir Bahadur bagged 16465 votes

  • 2003 Assembly Elections: In 4th Assembly election, INC candidate defeated BJP candidate with a difference of 20227 votes. Here, INC leader Tarvinder Singh Marwah attained 32937 votes and BJP candidate Kuldeep Singh Bhogal bagged 12710 votes

  • 2008 Assembly Elections: In 5th Assembly election, INC candidate defeated BJP candidate with a difference of 13951 votes. Here, INC leader Tarvinder Singh Marwah attained 37261 votes and BJP candidate Manjinder Singh Sirsa bagged 23310 votes

  • 2013 Assembly Elections: In 6th Assembly election, interesting battle was seen seen between AAP and INC here AAP candidate defeated his INC counterpart with a difference of 1744 votes.

PRAVEEN KUMAR from AAP has secured a win from Jangpura Assembly Constituency. As per the final vote count, PRAVEEN KUMAR won the polls, while BJP's IMPREET SINGH BAKSHI and INC's TARVINDER SINGH MARWAH lost in the election.
