Hyderabad: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Asaduddin Owaisi from All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) won the elections by a margin of 202454 votes. The polling / voting in Hyderabad constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 1 on 11 April. The major contest is between All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen#s Asaduddin Owaisi and Congress Party#s Firoz khan
Hyderabad 2014 Lok Sabha PollsIn the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Telangana Rashtra Samithi won 11 out of the 17 parliamentary seat with 33.9 percent vote share while the Congress managed to win just 2 seats with a 20.5 percent vote share.

- 2004 Lok Sabha Elections: In 14th Lok Sabha poll, All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen candidate defated Bharatiya Janta Party candidate in one-sided contest. Here, AIMIM candidate Asaduddin Owaisi attained 378854 votes and BJP's G.Subash Chanderji bagged 278709 votes.
- 1999 Lok Sabha Elections: In 13th Lok Sabha election, All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen candidate had defeated Bharatiya Janta Party candidate by a margin of 60821 votes AIMIM candidate Sultan Salahuddin Owaisi had got 448165 while BJP got Baddam Bal Reddy votes.
- 1998 Lok Sabha Elections: In 12th Lok Sabha election, All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen candidate had defeated Bharatiya Janta Party candidate by a margin of 71612 votes AIMIM candidate Sultan Salahuddin Owaisi had got 485785 while BJP got Baddam Bal Reddy votes.
- 1996 Lok Sabha Elections: In 11th Lok Sabha election, All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen candidate had defeated Bharatiya Janta Party candidate by a margin of 73273 votes AIMIM candidate Sultan Salahuddin Owaisi had got 321045 while BJP got M. Venkaiah Naidu votes.
- 1991 Lok Sabha Elections: In 10th Lok Sabha election, MIM candidate defeated Bharatiya Janta Party candidate with a difference of 39524 votes. Here, MIM leader Sultan Salahuddin Owaisi attained 454823 votes and Bharatiya Janta Party candidate Baddam Bal Reddy bagged 415299 votes
- 1989 Lok Sabha Elections: In Ninth Lok Sabha poll, MIM candidate defated Telugu Desam Party candidate in one-sided contest. Here, MIM candidate Sultan Salahuddin Owaisi attained 403625 votes and TDP's Teegala Krishana Reddy bagged 270547 votes.
- 1984 Lok Sabha Elections: In 8th Lok Sabha election, interesting battle could be seen between Independent and Telugu Desam Party here Independent candidate defeated his Telugu Desam Party counterpart with a difference of 3481 votes.
