In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Bharatiya Janata Party won 71 out of the 80 parliamentary seat with 42.3 percent vote share while the Samajwadi Party managed to win just 5 seats with a 22.2 percent vote share.

न्यूजीलैंड की तरफ से हेनरी और फग्र्यूसन ने शानदार गेंदबाजी की थी जहां टीम मात्र 136 रन ही बना सकी. इसके बाद न्यूजीलैंड की बल्लेबाजी शुरू हुई और 30 ओवर के भीतर ही गुप्टिल और मुनरों के 73 और 58 रनों की पारी की बदौलत टीम ने श्रीलंका को 10 विकटों से मात दे दी.

न्यूजीलैंड ने अपने पहले मैच में श्रीलंका को धूल चटा दी है. पहले बेहतरीन गेंदबाजी के दम पर टीम ने 136 रनों पर ही श्रीलंका को रोका था और अब ओपनर्स की धमाकेदार बल्लेबाजी के दम पर टीम ने श्रीलंका को 10 विकेट से मात दे दी है.
