Ghaziabad: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Vijay Kumar Singh from Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) won the elections by a margin of 567260 votes. The polling / voting in Ghaziabad constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 1 on 11 April. The major contest is between Bharatiya Janata Party#s Dr. Vijay Kumar Singh and Samajwadi Party#s SURESH BANSAL

In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Bharatiya Janata Party won 71 out of the 80 parliamentary seat with 42.3 percent vote share while the Samajwadi Party managed to win just 5 seats with a 22.2 percent vote share.

Voter turnout in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections in Ghaziabad Lok Sabha Lok Sabha constituency. The total voter turnout was 56.94% Lok Sabha percent with 58.68% Lok Sabha percent male voters turning out to cast their votes. Out of the 15 Lok Sabha candidates who contested the 2014 Lok Sabha elections from Ghaziabad, 14 had to deposit their security. The voters gave their mandate in favour of Vijay Kumar Singh of the Bharatiya Janta Party as he defeated Raj Babbar by a margin of 567260 votes.

गोवा के मुख्यमंत्री व पूर्व रक्षा मंत्री श्री मनोहर परिकर के निधन की खबर अति-दुखःद है। वे काफी लम्बे समय से बीमार चल रहे थे। श्री परिकर बहुत लम्बे समय से राजनीति में सक्रिय रहे तथा चार बार गोवा के मुख्यमंत्री बने। उनके परिवार के प्रति गहरी संवेदना।
