Dibrugarh: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Rameswar Teli from Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) won the elections by a margin of 185347 votes. मायावती ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट के फैसले पर कहा- अयोध्या मामले का सभी पक्षों को स्वीकार्य तौर पर निपटारे के लिये माननीय सुप्रीम कोर्ट द्वारा फैज़ाबाद में बंद कमरे में बैठकर मध्यस्थता कराने का जो आदेश आज पारित किया है वह नेक नीयत पर आधारित ईमानदार प्रयास लगता है, इसलिये बीएसपी उसका स्वागत करती है.

सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने कहा कि मध्यस्थता पैनल और सदस्यों को शामिल कर सकता है और इस संबंध में किसी भी तरह की परेशानी पर वह शीर्ष अदालत की रजिस्ट्री को जानकारी दे सकता है.
