Bhiwandi: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Kapil Moreshwar Patil from Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) won the elections by a margin of 109450 votes. The polling / voting in Bhiwandi constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 4 on 29 April. The major contest is between Bharatiya Janata Party#s Kapil Moreshwar Patil and Congress Party#s Suresh kashinath taware

In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Bharatiya Janata Party won 23 out of the 48 parliamentary seat with 27.3 percent vote share while the Shiv Sena managed to win just 18 seats with a 20.6 percent vote share.

  • 1967 Lok Sabha Elections: In Fourth Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate had defeated PWP candidate by a margin of 50874 votes INC candidate S. D. Baswant had got 136904 while PWP got V. K. Patil votes.
  • 1962 Lok Sabha Elections: In Third Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate defeated CPI candidate with a difference of 39674 votes. Here, Indian National Congress leader Shrimant Maharaj Saheb Yashwantro Martanrao Mukane attained 104579 votes and CPI candidate Rupji Lalya Kadu bagged 64905 votes
