Andaman and Nicobar Islands: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Bishnu Pada Ray from Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) won the elections by a margin of 7812 votes. The polling / voting in Andaman and Nicobar Islands constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 1 on 11 April. The major contest is between Bharatiya Janata Party#s Vishal Jolly and Congress Party#s Kuldeep rai sharma

In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, won out of the parliamentary seat with percent vote share while the managed to win just seats with a percent vote share.

Voter turnout in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections in Andaman and Nicobar Islands Lok Sabha Lok Sabha constituency. The total voter turnout was 70.66% Lok Sabha percent with 70.86% Lok Sabha percent male voters turning out to cast their votes. Meanwhile, 70.43% Lok Sabha percent of the women voters cast their votes and 1564 Lok Sabha voters pressed on the NOTA

Out of the 15 Lok Sabha candidates who contested the 2014 Lok Sabha elections from Andaman and Nicobar Islands, 13 had to deposit their security. The voters gave their mandate in favour of Bishnu Pada Ray of the Bharatiya Janta Party as he defeated Kuldeep Rai Sharma by a margin of 7812 votes.

Here, Indian National Congress leader Manoranjan Bhakta attained 85794 votes and Bharatiya Janta Party candidate Bishnu Pada Ray bagged 55294 votes
• 1999 Lok Sabha Elections: In 13th Lok Sabha election, Bharatiya Janta Party candidate defeated Indian National Congress candidate with a difference of 13947 votes. Here, Bharatiya Janta Party leader Bishnu Pada Ray attained 76891 votes and Indian National Congress candidate Manoranjan Bhakta bagged 62944 votes
• 1998 Lok Sabha Elections: In 12th Lok Sabha election, interesting battle could be seen between Indian National Congress and Bharatiya Janta Party; here Indian National Congress candidate defeated his Bharatiya Janta Party counterpart with a difference of 544 votes.
• 1996 Lok Sabha Elections: In 11th Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate defeated Bharatiya Janta Party candidate with a difference of 43545 votes. Here, Indian National Congress leader Manoranjan Bhakta attained 74642 votes and Bharatiya Janta Party candidate Bishnu Pada Ray bagged 31097 votes
• 1991 Lok Sabha Elections: In 10th Lok Sabha election, interesting battle could be seen between Indian National Congress and Communist Party of India here Indian National Congress candidate defeated his Communist Party of India counterpart with a difference of 6701 votes.
• 1989 Lok Sabha Elections: In Ninth Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate defeated Communist Party of India candidate with a difference of 18914 votes. Here, Indian National Congress leader Manoranjan Bhakta attained 53383 votes and Communist Party of India candidate Tapan Bepari bagged 34469 votes
• 1984 Lok Sabha Elections: In 8th Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate defeated LKD candidate with a difference of 19136 votes. Here, Indian National Congress leader Manoranjan Bhakta attained 47019 votes and LKD candidate K.Kandaswamy bagged 27883 votes
• 1980 Lok Sabha Elections: In 7th Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate defeated Communist Party of India candidate with a difference of 26032 votes. Here, Indian National Congress leader Manoranjan Bhakta attained 42046 votes and Communist Party of India candidate P.K.S. Prasad bagged 16014 votes
• 1977 Lok Sabha Elections: In Sixth Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate defeated IND candidate with a difference of 10232 votes. Here, Indian National Congress leader Manoranjan Bhakta attained 35400 votes and IND candidate K.R. Ganesh. bagged 25168 votes
• 1971 Lok Sabha Elections: In Fifth Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate defeated IND candidate with a difference of 17333 votes. Here, Indian National Congress leader K .R. Ganesh attained 27373 votes and IND candidate P. K. S. Prasad bagged 10040 votes
