The polling / voting in Ambedkar Nagar constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 6 on 12 May. The major contest is between Bharatiya Janata Party#s Mukut Bihari and Bahujan Samaj Party#s Ritesh Pandey

Ambedkar Nagar 2014 Lok Sabha Polls

In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Bharatiya Janata Party won 71 out of the 80 parliamentary seat with 42.3 percent vote share while the Samajwadi Party managed to win just 5 seats with a 22.2 percent vote share.

Out of the 14 Lok Sabha candidates who contested the 2014 Lok Sabha elections from Ambedkar Nagar, 11 had to deposit their security. The voters gave their mandate in favour of Hari Om Pandey of the Bharatiya Janta Party as he defeated Rakesh Pandey by a margin of 139429 votes.
