Will NEET PG 2024 Counselling Schedule Be Released After Supreme Court Hearing?

NEET PG 2024: The Supreme Court will hear a plea on October 25 regarding discrepancies in the NEET PG 2024 results, with students raising concerns about transparency and last-minute changes to the exam.

The Supreme Court of India will hear a plea regarding the transparency of NEET PG 2024 results on October 25. A group of students filed the petition, alleging discrepancies in the results and sudden changes to the exam pattern. The NEET PG 2024 counselling schedule has not yet been declared, as the case is pending in the top court. In the last hearing, the court was expected to address concerns raised by aspirants about last-minute changes to the NEET PG exam pattern and the lack of transparency in the results. However, the session was postponed due to the absence of a representative from the Union of India.

NEET PG is conducted for admissions into postgraduate courses after MBBS and BDS. The results were declared on August 23 that have sparked concerns among students due to unexpectedly low rankings. This year, the exam was held in two shifts instead of the usual single shift, leading the NBE to implement a normalisation process.

Aspirants have repeatedly urged the National Board of Examinations (NBE) to release the answer key, along with their normalised and raw marks, but received no response. Frustrated by the lack of transparency and abrupt last-minute changes to the exam process, 19 students filed a petition in the Supreme Court, seeking a resolution for their concerns.
