UPSC Mains 2023 DAF Form Filling Last Date Today, Apply Online On upsc.gov.in
UPSC Main 2023 Exam: Eligible candidates can fill the Detailed Application Forms (DAF) on upsconline.nic.in.
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will close the application process for Detailed Application Forms (DAF) for the UPSC Civil Services Main exam today. Only candidates who have cleared the CSE Preliminary Exam are eligible to register for the Main exam on the official websites - upsc.gov.in or upsconline.nic.in until 6.00 PM. The CSE Preliminary examinations were held on May 28, and the results were announced on June 12. The UPSC aims to fill around 1105 vacancies through the UPSC CSE 2023. The Civil Services Main exam is scheduled to take place from September 15.
As the exam date approaches, the commission will release the admit cards and exam center information on its website approximately three to four weeks before the examination date. Candidates are advised to stay updated with the UPSC's official website for further announcements and details regarding the Main exam.
“The result of the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2023 has been declared on 12.06.2023. In accordance with the Rules of the Examination, all candidates declared qualified in the said examination have to apply again in the Detailed Application Form-I (DAF-I) for the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2023, which has been made available on the website of the Union Public Service Commission from 10/07/2023 to 19/07/2023 till 6:00 P.M,” reads the official notification.

UPSC Mains 2023 DAF Form: How To Fill Form?
- Visit the official website - upsconline.nic.in.
- Go to ‘DAF for Various exams of of UPSC’
- Click on the apply link for Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2023 [ DAF-I ]
- Log in to the website using your registration details, which may include your registration number, date of birth, and password.
- Complete the Detailed Application Form (DAF) by providing the required information, including personal details, educational qualifications, preferences for services and cadres, etc. Upload any necessary documents as per the specified guidelines. Once you have filled in all the required details and uploaded the necessary documents, submit the form.
- Download the confirmation page and take a printout.
