UPSC Civil Services Exam 2023: Important Notice Released On Rejection Of Applications, Check Here
UPSC CSE Exam: There are 80 candidates whose applications have been rejected due to non-payment of fees.
The Union Public Service Commission has released an important notice regarding the rejection of applications for the UPSC Civil Services Exam 2023. It has come to light that some applications have been rejected due to non-payment of fees. Candidates who have applied for the exam are advised to visit the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in to check the official notice.
According to the official notice, there are 80 candidates whose applications have been rejected. This decision was taken because confirmation was not received from the bank authorities regarding the receipt of ₹100/- fee payment made by these candidates.
Applicants whose applications have been rejected have the option to appeal within 10 days, submitting the required documents as stated in the official notice. The original hard copies of documentary evidence should be sent by speed post to Shri A.K. Roy, Under Secretary (CSP), at the following address: Union Public Service Commission Examination Hall Building, Hall No. 2, 4th Floor, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110069. The deadline for appeals is March 17, 2023.
In case, the Commission does not receive valid documentary evidence by the prescribed date, the application will not be considered for revival. No further communication/ request will be entertained by the Commission after the date mentioned above.

Through the recruitment process, UPSC will fill out 1,105 vacancies. As per the schedule, the UPSC prelims examination will be conducted on May 28, 2023 at various centres across the country.

The Civil Services Examination or UPSC CSE is a national competitive examination in India conducted by the Union Public Service Commission for recruitment to higher Civil Services of the Government of India, including the Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service, and Indian Police Service.
