The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC), Prayagraj, has declared the results of the Provincial Civil Service (PCS) preliminary examination for combined state/upper subordinate services for UPPSC PCS 2023. Candidates who appeared for the prelims exams can now check their results on the official website of UPPSC at uppsc.up.nic.in. The list of selected candidates is available on the official website. The UPPSC PCS 2023 recruitment drive will fill 254 vacancies in different state services. The Prelims exam was conducted for a total of 565,459 candidates who had submitted their applications online. However, a considerable number of candidates opted not to appear for the test. According to the information provided by the commission, only 345,022 candidates participated in the examination.

The PCS-2023 Prelims exam was conducted on May 14 in 1,241 examination centers spread across 51 districts of Uttar Pradesh. The next stage of the UPPSC PCS 2023 recruitment process is the Mains Exam, which is scheduled to be held on September 10 and 11, 2023.

UPPSC Secretary Ashok Kumar has mentioned that a separate press release will be issued to provide additional information about online application process, and fee for the Mains examination.
