Kakatiya University, Warangal has started the application process for the Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test (TSICET) -2024 on its official website - icet.tsche.ac.in. The last date to submit the application form is April 30, 2024. However, after this date, a late fee of Rs 250 will be applicable until May 17 and Rs 500 until May 27. The TSICET test is designed for admission into the Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programme for the Academic Year 2024-25. This programme is available at University Colleges, Constituent Colleges and Affiliated Colleges within the jurisdiction of various universities in the state of Telangana.

Kakatiya University has scheduled the TS ICET 2024 examination to take place on June 4 and 5. The exam will be conducted in two shifts on June 4, from 10 am to 12:30 pm and from 2:30 pm to 5 pm. On June 5, the exam will be held in a single shift from 10 am to 12:30 pm.

TSICET Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility criteria for the MCA and MBA entrance test are as follows:

For MBA:

- Applicants must have completed a bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years duration with at least 50% marks.

For MCA:

- Candidates should have passed BCA, BSc, B.Com, or BA with 50% marks.
- They must have studied mathematics as a subject in Class 12 or at the graduation level.

Candidates belonging to SC, ST and OBC categories will receive a 5% relaxation in marks in the qualifying exam. The university emphasizes that the qualifying degree obtained through distance mode programs or open distance learning must be recognised by the Joint Committee of UGC, AICTE and DEC/DEB as per UGC Regulations.
