TNPSC AAO Recruitment 2019: Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has released a notification for TNPSC AAO Recruitment 2019 on the official website tnpsc.gov.in. The applications are invited to fill 580 vacancies for the post of Assistant Agricultural Officer. The selected candidates will be placed in level 10 with a pay scale of Rs.20600 – 65500, under the Tamil Nadu Agricultural Extension Subordinate Services. The last date to submit online applications is 27^th January 2019. TNPSC is inviting applications from Plus Two pass, Two year Agriculture Diploma holders for this recruitment drive. The applicant must fall in the age bracket of 18 to 30 years as on 1^st July 2018, however, there’s no upper age limit for SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs, BCMs candidates and DWs of all Castes. The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of a written exam which will be conducted in objective type OMR mode. The written examination will comprise of two papers viz Paper-I and Paper-II which are scheduled to be held on 7^th April 2019 in two shift viz 10am to 1pm and 2:30pm to 4:30pm, respectively. Paper – I: 200 Questions – 300 Marks Diploma Standard  Agriculture (Code No.212) Paper – II: 100 Questions – 200 Marks (Code No.003) Paper-II will comprise of two sections viz General Studies (HSC  Standard) comprising of 75 Questions and Aptitude and Mental Ability Test (SSLC  Standard) comprising of 25 Questions.
