Telangana Class 12 Exams Cancelled: The Telangana government has decided to cancel the Telangana class 12 or intermediate board exam 2021. The decision has been taken as a precautionary measure in wake of the surge in the covid-19 cases across the state.
Earlier, the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) had deferred the class 12 or intermediate examination in April due to coronavirus pandemic.
The board is yet to announce the evaluation criterion of the Telangana class 12 or intermediate board exam 2021. However, it is expected that the students of the Telangana TSBIE class 12 will be evaluated on the basis of the results of class 11th and pre boards examinations conducted by the respective schools.
Earlier, the TSBIE class 12 board examination was scheduled to be conducted from May 1 to 19, 2021.
The decision to cancel the Telanaga class 12 board examination was taken after Prime Minister Modi on June 1 announced the cancellation of the CBSE class 12 board exam in view of the covid-19 pandemic.
After the meeting, PM Modi on his official Twitter handle wrote, "Government of India has decided to cancel the Class 12 CBSE Board Exams. After extensive consultations, we have taken a decision that is student-friendly, one that safeguards the health as well as future of our youth."
Note: Students are advised to keep visiting the official website of the Telanaga Board regularly for the latest updates regarding the board examinations.
