SSC CGL 2024 Notification: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the notification for Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination 2024, aiming to fill around 17,727 vacancies. This recruitment drive aims to fill Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ positions across various Ministries, Departments, and Organisations of the Government of India, as well as Constitutional Bodies, Statutory Bodies, and Tribunals. SSC has started the application process and interested candidates can fill the application form on the official website at ssc.gov.in. The last date to apply online is 24, 2024. It is advised to complete the application well in advance of the deadline to avoid any issues. The last date for fee payment is July 25, 2024.

The Tier-I (Computer-Based Examination) will be held in September-October 2024, followed by Tier-II in December 2024. Applicants can make corrections to their application forms from August 10 to August 11, 2024.

SSC CGL 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must ensure that they fulfill the desired eligibility criteria as notified by the commission. In general, candidates are required to have the following eligibility criteria for the SSC CGL Exam:

Citizenship– Must be a citizen of India, Nepal, Bhutan

SSC CGL Age Limit- Must be between the age group of 18 years and 32 years

Qualification- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University

Besides the aforementioned eligibility criteria, candidates appearing for some specialized SSC CGL posts like inspector and sub-inspector will also have to appear for a physical fitness test.

To fill out the online application form for SSC CGL 2024, candidates should follow the steps given below:

• Visit the official website of SSC at ssc.gov.in.
• Click on the "Apply" tab.
• Now click on the apply link given next to 'Combined Graduate Level Examination,2024'
• Provide the necessary details to generate a login ID and password.
• Log in using the ID and password created in the previous step.
• Fill out the SSC CGL application form 2024.
• Pay the application fees and click on submit.
• Download and take a printout of the SSC CGL application form for future reference.
