SSC CGL 2020: Registrations Close January 31; Details To Keep In Mind Before Applying

The last date to apply for Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level Examinations, SSC CGL 2020 is January 31st 2021. Interested candidates should apply by visiting - ssc.nic.in.

New Delhi: Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level Examinations, SSC CGL 2020 registrations will close on January 31st 2021. According to the offical notification, "No extension of the last date for submission of online applications will be granted". Interested candidates are advised to apply and complete the online application at the earliest on ssc.nic.in.

Staff Selection Commission will hold a Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2020 for filling up of various Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ posts in different Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations.  A total of 6506 vacancies have been notified by various departments. Aspirants should read the eligibility criteria on the website. Candidates who are not eligible would be rejected even if they clear all the examinations.

SSC CGL is a national-level exam conducted by Staff Selection Commission (SSC) to shortlist candidates for Group-B and -C posts in various ministries/departments/organisations of the Government of India. Every year, about 30 lakh candidates fill the SSC CGL application form and about 15 lakh aspirants appear for the exam. 

Educational Qualifications:

  • Assistant Audit Officer Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University/ Desirable Qualification: CA/CS/MBA/Cost & Management Accountant/ M.Com/ Masters in Business Studies
  • Statistical Investigator Grade-II - Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects. The candidates must have studied Statistics as a subject in all the three years of the graduation course
  • Junior  Statistical  Officer - Bachelor’s  Degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute with at least   60% Marks in Mathematics at 12th standard level or Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level.
  • For all other Posts - Bachelor’s Degree from a  recognized University or equivalent. The candidates appearing in the final year of their graduation can also apply.
