SEBA Announces Rescheduled Date For Cancelled Class 10 General Science Exam

Assam HSLC General Science exam was cancelled today after reports of paper leak.

The Secondary Education Board of Assam has announced a rescheduled date for the cancelled HSLC General Science exam. The General Science paper which was scheduled for today, March 13, 2023 now will now be held on March 30, 2023. The cancelled English examination in JR Higher Secondary School, Ganirgram will now be held on 28th March.

Earlier, Assam Education Minister, Ronoj Pegu tweeted: “General Science examination of the ongoing HSLC examination scheduled for 13/03/2023 has been cancelled by SEBA in view of media reports of leakage of the question paper. Next date will be announced in due course.”

Meanwhile, The Assam Police has registered a case and the matter would be investigated by CID Assam.

“Reference media reports of leakage of General Science (C3) question paper of HSLC examination scheduled for March 13th 2023 conducted by Board of Secondary Education, Assam - A criminal case has been registered and would be investigated by CID Assam. We would bring the culprits and conspirators to law,” DGP Assam GP Singh tweeted.

SEBA is conducting the class 10 exam across the state. The HSLC exam began on March 3, 2023 with English paper. The examination will conclude on March 20, 2023 with Advanced Mathematics, History, Geography, Sanskrit, Computer Science, Commerce, Home Science, Nepali, Arabic, Persian paper.
