The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has extended the registration deadline for the Assistant Engineer (AE) recruitment 2024 to September 15, 2024. Interested candidates can apply online via the official website, rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in. This recruitment drive aims to fill 1,014 Assistant Engineer vacancies. Applicants must be between 21 and 40 years of age as of January 1, 2025, with age relaxations for reserved categories.

Eligibility:

Candidates must hold a degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) from a recognized university or institution.

RPSC AE Recruitment 2024 Selection Process:

  1. Preliminary Exam (if applicable): Objective-type questions on general knowledge and engineering subjects.
  2. Main Examination: Descriptive-type questions on General Knowledge (with a focus on Rajasthan) and engineering disciplines (Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical).
  3. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be assessed on technical knowledge and personality.
  4. Document Verification: Final candidates will undergo document verification.
  5. Final Merit List: Based on scores from the main exam and interview.

Application Fee:

  • General/Unreserved category: Rs 600
  • SC, ST, EWS, OBC categories: Rs 400

  7. Pay the Application Fee: Pay the application fee based on your category (Rs 600 for general/unreserved, Rs 400 for SC, ST, EWS, OBC). The payment must be made online.

  9. Download Confirmation: After submission, download and print a copy of the application form for future reference.
