WB JECA 2024 Round 2 Seat Allotment Result is now available on the official website at wbjeeb.nic.in.

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has released the seat allotment results for the second round of Joint Examination for Masters in Computer Applications (JECA) 2024 counselling, today, October 1. Candidates who participated in the counselling process can now download their JECA 2024 seat allotment results from the official website, wbjeeb.nic.in.

To access the allotment letter, candidates must log in using their JECA application number and password. Those who have been allotted a seat in this round should accept the offer and pay a seat acceptance fee of Rs 5,000. After downloading the seat allotment letter, candidates are required to report to the designated institute with the allotment letter and all necessary documents for verification.

The official notice warns that failure to report for document verification will result in the cancellation of the current seat allotment, and the candidate will not be eligible for the second round of seat allocation.

The deadline for students to report to their respective colleges for allotment is October 4, 2024. It is essential for students to bring all necessary documents when reporting for admission. After the verification of certificates, students can submit their fees to confirm their admissions.

Reporting Process for WB JECA 2024 Admission

The reporting process for students involves the following steps:

  1. Document Submission

    • Submit the allotment letter and the fee payment receipt.
    • Present original documents, including:
      • WB JECA rank card
      • Academic certificates (mark sheets, degree certificates)
      • Category certificates (if applicable)
      • Identification proof (Aadhar, Voter ID)
  2. Document Verification

    • All documents must be verified at the college.

Seat Options

  • Freezing the Seat: Candidates who are satisfied with their allotted seat can finalize their admission by opting to freeze it.

  • Upgrade Option: Candidates seeking a better seat in subsequent rounds may choose the upgrade option if it is available.
