“Vacancies for the post of MTS in the aforementioned examination have been received in two age groups i.e. (i) 18 to 25 years and (ii) 18 to 27 years. Therefore, in consonance with Para18.13 of the Notice of the Examination, separate cut-offs, State/ UT-wise and category-wise, for both age groups have been fixed. The candidates who are eligible for both age-groups have been first considered in the age-group of 18-25 years,” said SSC in a notice.

The commission has provided information on the resolution of ties in cases where more than one candidate has obtained an equal aggregate score in Paper-I. The commission has stated that ties have been resolved by applying a specific set of methods in a given order until the tie is resolved.

The Commission stated that the results of 126 candidates have been withheld. The SSC has requested that candidates report any discrepancies in their selection, non-selection, or allocation of posts to the commission within one month. The commission has stated that it will not consider any representations made after the one-month deadline.
