SSC CGL 2024 Tier 1 Result Declared On ssc.gov.in, Check Direct Link

SSC CGL 2024 Tier 1 Result is now available on the official website of the commission at ssc.gov.in.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) announced the SSC CGL 2024 Tier I examination results on the official website of SSC at ssc.gov.in. Candidates who appeared for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier I Exam can now check their scores. To view their individual response sheets, candidates need to log in to the SSC portal using their registration number and password. It’s important to note that the final selection will be based on the candidates' aggregate marks and their stated preferences. The final allotment of posts will follow the merit-cum-preference criteria for shortlisted candidates.

A total of 186,509 candidates have qualified for the Tier 2 examination, which is scheduled to take place on January 18, 19, and 20, 2025. The Tier 1 exam was conducted earlier, from September 9 to September 26, 2024.

"Representations received from the candidates with regard to the Answer Keys of Tier-I Examination have been carefully examined and the Answer Keys have been modified wherever necessary. The final Answer Keys have been used for evaluation. The Final Answer Keys along with the Question Paper(s) and marks of the qualified/non-qualified candidates will be hosted on the website of the Commission shortly," reads the official notice.

How To Check SSC CGL Tier 1 Result 2024?

Follow these steps to check SSC CGL Result 2024: 

Step 1: Visit the official website: ssc.nic.in

Step 2: Click on the link for CGL Tier 1 Result 2024 under the “Latest News” or “Results” section.

Step 3: A PDF file containing the list of qualified candidates will open.

Step 4: Use the search feature (Ctrl+F) to find your roll number or name in the list.

Step 5: Download the PDF for future reference.

The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam comprises multiple-choice questions across four sections: General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension. Each section has 25 questions, with each correct answer earning 2 marks, for a total of 200 marks.
