PSEB Class 8th Result 2023 Declared, 98.01 Percent Students Pass, Know How To Check Result

Punjab Board PSEB Class 8th Result 2023 is available on the official website at pseb.ac.in.

PSEB Class 8th Result 2023: The Punjab School Education Board has announced the PSEB 8th Result 2023, today April 28. Students who took the examination can check the results on the official website at pseb.ac.in. This year 98.01 percent students have passed the class 8 board exam. Lovepreet Kaur, a student of Government Girls' Senior Secondary School in Budhlada, Mansa district, has achieved a perfect score of 600/600 in the PSEB Class 8th examination. Gurankit Kaur, a student of Government Girls School in Mansa, has secured the second rank, while Samarpreet Kaur, a student of Guru Nanak Public Senior Secondary School in Ludhiana, has secured the third rank.

Out of the 356 students who have scored between 97% to 100% in the Punjab Board Class 8 examinations this year, 310 are girls and 46 are boys.

The Punjab Board conducted the Class 8 examinations from February 25 to March 22, 2023. A total of 2,98,127 candidates appeared for the exam, out of which 2,92,206 students successfully passed the examination.

Similar to the previous year, girls have once again outperformed boys in the Class 8 examinations, with a pass percentage of 98.68 percent. On the other hand, boys secured a pass percentage of 97.41 percent.

All the students who have appeared for the Class 8 examination will be able to obtain their final marksheets from their respective schools. 

PSEB Class 8th Result: Steps To Check Result

The result link will be active tomorrow at 10:00 am. Once the link is active, students can check their results from the below steps:

Step 1: Visit the official site of PSEB at pseb.ac.in.

Step 2: Click on Result link.

Step 3: Enter the required details and click on submit.

Step 4: Your result will be displayed on the screen.

Step 5: Check the results and download the page.

Step 6: Keep a hard copy of the same for further need.

In the previous year, a total of 3,07,942 candidates had registered for the Class 8 examination, out of which 3,02,558 candidates cleared the exam. The overall pass percentage in 2022 was an impressive 98.25 percent. Girls had outperformed boys with a pass percentage of 98.70 percent, while the pass percentage of boys was 97.86 percent.
