NTA Releases UGC NET 2023 Result, Final Answer Key And Cut-Off - Check Details Here

Candidates can download their UGC NET 2023 Result and download their scorecards by logging into the official website - ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the UGC NET 2023 Results yesterday, April 13, 2023. Those who took the UGC NET 2023 Exam can check their UGC NET Results and download their scorecards from the official UGC NET website - ugcnet.nta.nic.in. UGC Chairman M Jagadesh Kumar, earlier on April 12 announced that the NTA will be releasing the UGC NET Results on April 13, 2023. As per various reports, around 50,000 candidates have cleared the UGC NET 2023 Exam. 

Along with the results, the NTA has also released the UGC NET 2023 Final Answer Key, as well as category-wise and subject-wise cutoff for the UGC NET 2023 Exam. Candidates can check the UGC NET 2023 Cutoff on the official website. Candidates who have secured above their category-wise cutoff in their respective subjects are now eligible to apply for the positions of Assistant Professor, and Research Assistant across several higher institutions across the country.

Moreover, the UGC (University Grants Commission) will also be issuing e-certificates and award letters to candidates who have qualified the UGC NET 2023 Exam. Importantly, candidates must note that UGC NET-qualifying candidates are eligible for two certificates: Certificate of Lectureship (LS), and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), based on their performance and score in the exam. Candidates must also note that while there is no cap on the validity of the Certificate of Lectureship, the UGC NET JRF certificate is valid for a maximum period of three years from the date of issuing. Qualified candidates can download their certificates from ecertificate.nta.ac.in.

Alongside Result and Cutoff, the NTA has also released the UGC NET 2023 Final Answer key. A total of 101 questions were dropped from the final answer key. However, in the UGC NET Provisional Answer Key released on March 23, only 85 questions were dropped. The evaluation of candidates' responses have been done on the basis of the final answer key.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the UGC NET 2023 exam in five phases, from February 21 to March 15, 2023. The UGC NET Exam 2023 was conducted for 83 subjects at various designated test centres across the country. Over 8 lakh candidates appeared for the UGC NET 2023 Exam.
