NEET UG Result 2021 To Be Declared Soon, Know Category Wise Qualifying Criteria Here

NEET UG Result 2021: NEET 2021 results are expected to be declared by the end of October. NEET UG 2021 exam was conducted by NTA on September 12.

NEET UG Result 2021: Millions of students are waiting for NEET 2021 results to be declared. The National Testing Agency (NTA) is likely to release the NEET 2021 results on its official website neet.nta.nic.in soon. After which students appearing for the undergraduate (UG) medical entrance exam will be able to check their results and All India Rank (AIR) through the official website.

NEET UG Qualifying criteria:

To qualify NEET-UG, unreserved category students will have to get a minimum 50th percentile in the examination. On the other hand, NEET qualifying criteria for candidates of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes (OBC) is the 40th percentile. Qualifying criteria for students under the general-PWD category is 45th percentile and 40th for reserved category PWD candidates. NTA will obtain the NEET percentile based on the highest marks obtained in the All India Common Merit List.

Medical UG Eligibility for Admission to Course:

Students are individually eligible for admission to medical undergraduate courses such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology. It is mandatory to paas in biotechnology and English subjects. Also, students will have to score at least 50 per cent marks simultaneously in physics, chemistry, biology/biotechnology.

NEET UG Exam was conducted on September 12 2021:

NEET UG 2021 was conducted by NTA on September 12 and the paper was of 'easy to medium' difficulty level. NEET 2021 question paper had 180 questions carrying a total of 720 marks and the paper was NCERT based. Students will be given 4 marks for each correct response and 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. There will be no marks in case of unanswered questions.
