NEET PG Exam 2021 Date: Examination On April 18; Check Revised Paper Pattern, Marking Scheme & Other Details

NEET PG 2021: This year, the number of questions in the NEET exam has been reduced from 300 questions which were divided into three sections. For the 2021 session there will be only 200 objective questions in the NEET PG question paper.

Aspirants for the NEET PG 2021 exams have already started with their registration process online after the National Board of Examinations (NBE) commenced the process on February 23.

The exam application can be submitted online at nbe.edu.in. Even as applicants were relieved after the board released the NEET PG 2021 exam application form, students were taken by surprise about the unexpected changes in the exam pattern. NEET PG 2021 will be conducted on April 18 as a Computer Based Test (CBT) for candidates looking to get admission to MD/ MS/ Postgraduate Diploma programmes. The admit card will be issued on April 12, and the result is expected to be announced by May 31.

What are the changes?

NEET PG exam 2021 will have a total of 200 multiple-choice, single correct answer questions. Remember candidates will be marked depending on the correct answers out of 800 marks. There will be four marks for every correct response and one mark will be deducted for a wrong answer. Also, for unattempted questions, there would be no marking.

The medium of the NEET PG Exam 2021 will remain English and the duration of the multiple-choice paper is going to be three hours and 30 minutes.

Also, it is important to note that during the examination candidates are given an option to mark any question, whether attempted or not,  for review which means that candidate has been given an option to go through these questions again before the examination time ends. Candidates may note that such questions which are marked for review shall be evaluated as per the marking scheme mentioned above.

What’s the syllabus?

The syllabus of NEET PG includes subjects and knowledge area as per Graduate Medical Education Regulations issued by the erstwhile Medical Council of India, an official statement added. As per the information released on the official website, the NEET PG 2021 syllabus distribution has not been released yet.

What's the examination fee?

Any claim for refund,  adjustment, or carrying forward of  Application fee will not be entertained on successful submission of application and payment of the fee.

As per the tweets by users on the social media platform, the NEET PG course is the same, while the type of questions will change.
