Kerala's DHSE has declared the Class 12 results recording an overall pass percentage of 77.81%. Ernakulam emerged as the top-performing district, while girls outshone boys.

The Directorate of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE) in Kerala released the Class 12 (Plus Two) examination results on Thursday at 3 PM. The official announcement was made by Education Minister V Sivankutty during a press briefing. As it has been declared, students can view their results online.

Ernakulam topped the district chart by recording 83.09% pass percentage. This year’s board exams took place between March 6 and March 26, with over 4.44 lakh students appearing across the state. The girls outperformed boys with the latter recording 68.44% pass percentage and the former recording 86.65%.

How To Check Result

Students can check their results on government-approved websites, including keralaresults.nic.in, dhsekerala.gov.in, and result.kite.kerala.gov.in. Access requires entering the school code, after which the full list of results by school will be available for download.

The overall pass percentage for HSE this year is 77.81%. The highest pass percentage was recorded by science stream with 83.25% pass percentage while the lowest was from the Humanities with 69.16%.

Revaluation & 'Save A Year' Details

Those who do not meet the passing criteria will be eligible to take supplementary exams, designed to help them progress without losing an academic year. These "Save a Year" exams are expected to be scheduled shortly after the result announcement.

Students who wish to challenge their marks can apply for revaluation or scrutiny. The last day to apply for revaluation is on May 27, 2025.

Detailed instructions, including the application process and fees, will be posted on the DHSE’s official site after the results are out.

To pass the exam, students must earn a minimum of 30% in each subject—covering theory, practicals, and internal assessments. A minimum grade of D+ is required in all subjects for a pass.

Initially, digital marksheets will be issued. These will include the student's name, roll number, date of birth, and detailed subject-wise scores and grades. Students should retain a copy of this digital marksheet until printed versions are handed out by their schools.
