KCET Result 2023 Expected To Be Released On June 15, Know Steps To Check

KCET Result 2023 will be available on the official websites at kea.kar.nic.in or cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.

The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) is expected to release the KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test) result 2023 on June 15. Once the result is announced, candidates will be able to check and download their scorecards from the official websites, kea.kar.nic.in or cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. In addition to the results, KEA will also publish the KCET toppers list for 2023. The counselling schedule for qualified candidates will be released after the declaration of results.

Participating in the counselling process is mandatory for candidates to be considered for admission based on their KCET 2023 results. The counselling process will involve the allocation of seats in various colleges and courses based on merit and the preferences indicated by the candidates.

The provisional answer key was released by KEA on May 26 and candidates had the opportunity to raise objections regarding any discrepancies or errors in the answer key until May 30. 

KCET was conducted from May 20 to May 21. A total of 2.60 lakh students registered for the exam, out of which over 2.5 lakh students appeared. Among the registered students, there were 1.4 lakh girls and 1.21 lakh boys. The exam took place at 592 centers, with 121 centers located in Bengaluru.

  • Visit the official website at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.
  • Click on the result link.
  • Enter the required details.
  • Your result will appear on the screen.
  • Check and download it.

Notably, this year, the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) introduced the CET for BSc Nursing courses for the first time. Around 16,000 non-Kannadiga students enrolled for this examination and were exempted from the compulsory Kannada exam.

KCET serves as an entrance test for admission into various professional courses for government share of seats, including Medical, Dental, Indian systems of medicine and Homeopathy, Engineering/Architecture courses, and Farm Science programs such as BSc (Agriculture), BSc (Sericulture), BSc (Horticulture), BSc (Forestry), BSc Agri Bio Tech, BHSc (Home Science), and other professional courses.
