KCET 2023 Result Expected This Week On kea.kar.nic.in - See Details

The KEA is likely to release the KCET 2023 Exam by June 15 on kea.kar.nic.in.

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) is likely to announce the KCET 2023 Result this week, as per several reports. The KEA is expected to release the KCET Result 2023 by June 15, 2023. However, the KEA is yet to make an official announcement on the declaration of KCET 2023 Result. 

Earlier, the KEA was about to release the KCET 2023 Exam on June 12, 2023. However, before the announcement of the KCET 2023 Result, the KEA reported a mismatch in the RD Data of the KCET candidates applying for reservations. The correction window to update the data was earlier closed by the KEA today at 11:00 AM. 

“It was scheduled on Monday, June 12. However due to some internal checkings, the results will be announced on June 14,” a recent Indian Express report quoted a KEA official as saying.

As per reports, the data of around 80,000 candidates were found to be mismatched, and about 30,000 students are yet to correct their data. Moreover, only those candidates will be considered for the final merit list under the general category, who have corrected their data before 11:00 AM, June 12, 2023. 

Around 2.60 lakh students reportedly appeared for the KCET 2023 Exams this year. Out of the total applicants, around 2.5 lakh students appeared for the state-level entrance exam. Notably, this was the first time when the KEA conducted the CET for B.Sc Nursing courses as well. 

The KEA conducted the KCET 2023 Exam 2023 on May 20 and 21, 2023. The exam was held in the online CBT (Computer Based Test) at 592 centres across Karnataka. 

The KCET is an annual state-level entrance exam conducted by the KEA for admissions into undergraduate courses offered by various colleges, universities, and higher institutions across the state of Karnataka. Last year, the KCET 2022 registration count was 2,16,559, where 2,10,829 students appeared for the test.
