JNVST Result 2024: The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti has released the JNVST Result 2024 for Classes 6 and 9. Candidates who participated in the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test can check their results on the official website at navodaya.gov.in. The JNVST exam phase 1 was conducted on November 4, while phase 2 exam was scheduled on January 20, 2024. Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti is expected to publish the region-wise selection list soon. However, there is no official notice regarding the release of the qualifying marks.

Admission in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas is mainly for students from rural areas, providing at least 75% seats for rural children. Seats are reserved for children from SC and ST categories in proportion to their population in the district but not less than the national average. The authority reserves 27% for the OBC students. 1/3 of the seats are filled by girl students, and 3% of the seats are reserved for disabled children.

Novodaya Vidyalaya draws their students' strength from talented children selected based on merit list. The JNVST exam is conducted annually on an All-India basis and at the block and district levels. The objective of the JNVST exam is designed in such a way that rural children are not at a disadvantage while attempting the exam.
